Good hotel with excellent wi-fi, a cozy bar/lounge area, and 24-hour reception. The staff helped me find a better taxi during my first stay. Highly recommend trying the activities offered. I’m coming back for a weekend!

Amazing food & chill vibes
Wow, what a stay! The staff were super friendly, making everything feel so cozy. I loved the river view from our balcony—perfect for mornings with coffee. Plus, the in-room breakfast was top-notch, seriously delicious. The only bummer was the gym being out of power, which kinda sucked when I wanted to work out. Can't wait to come back!

The welcome tamarind drink upon arrival hit the spot. a refreshing touch that set a positive tone. The room had a fantastic balcony with a river view that was perfect for enjoying the sounds of nature and relaxing after a long day.
The narrow, winding roads leading to the hotel posed a driving challenge, especially with limited ride-sharing options available. The pool can be quite chilly and it’s not heated, so if you’re expecting a warm dip, set your expectations low. the access corridors to the rooms felt a bit dowdy, lacking any uplifting decor that would match the serene feel of the rooms themselves. My sleep was disturbed by rowdy guests above my room during the night, which made it tough when needing a restful experience. Finally, the food did not quite match the quality I’ve come to expect from other hotels in the same chain, which was a letdown.

Just a smart choice for a mini-vacation in Kandy with fantastic value. The staff treated us really well, especially Radee from the front office. Make sure to ask about any activities available during your stay.

I enjoyed a spacious and clean room with a comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. The open air bar offered a lovely view of the pool and gardens, creating a peaceful atmosphere. the menu lacked variety and featured repetitive dishes for a hotel's dining experience. There's definitely room for improvement in the food options.

Family-friendly Retreat
The staff were not just friendly, they went above and beyond, especially one lady who welcomed us like family! Our room had a private balcony overlooking the river, and let me tell you, I spent hours just soaking in that view, it was something else.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but it was acceptable for the experience we had!

Cinnamon Citadel Kandy was a fantastic choice for our family trip! The Superior King River View room was spacious, featuring a cozy armchair that was perfect for relaxing while enjoying the beautiful river view. The staff went above and beyond, with Pradeep making our room extra special by creating a towel elephant for my daughter. The boat ride offered a thrilling adventure with a knowledgeable guide who pointed out fascinating birds and their behaviors, making it a memorable experience for all of us.
The food quality didn't match our expectations from prior experiences.
